Last Friday the CARES Act bill passed which enables hospice providers to perform face-to-face encounters via telehealth.  This rule compliments nicely with general telehealth use by any hospice team member wishing to see patients where appropriate from a safe distance, without the risk of exposing patients and hospice personnel to COVID-19.
